50 Unique Date Ideas

50 Unique Date Ideas

1.) Have a picnic! Dates don’t have to be reserved for night and a simple, old-fashioned picnic is much more thought-out than a restaurant.

2.) Go to a museum and take the full tour.

3.) Take a ride on a hot air balloon!

4.) Take a hike- and bring your date along!

5.) Visit a pet store. If you are an animal lover, see if your date is, too, by taking them to a pet store.

6.) Take an art class. Remember ‘Ghost’? Yeah, pottery and painting classes are still that hot.

7.) Visit the zoo… seriously! It’s fun!

8.) Meet for breakfast instead of dinner- then you have the whole day to plan together.

9.) Go dancing, even if you both are bad at it. It’s not so bad to look like fools together.

10.) Meet up at the beach for some relaxing time in the sun together. It’s casual but still lots of fun!

11.) Go to a convention of a like-minded hobby or interest.

12.) Volunteer! You give back together and learn more about one another.

13.) Go skating, even if you aren’t good at it. It’s a great way to remember your junior high school days and laugh if you both fall.

14.) Go bowling and invite a group of people to make the date less awkward, especially if it is a blind date.

15.) Play some putt-putt mini golf and wager on the loser buying ice cream afterward.

16.) Make pizza at home in either your home or your date’s place. It’s a comfortable place and an easy meal to prepare.

17.) Go for a nighttime stroll and out for ice cream or frozen yogurt. It isn’t formal, but it will let you both know if you want a second date or not.

18.) Hit the gym and sweat it out as you talk it out.

19.) Take some time to go around town and shoot photos of interesting sites you see. This will help you both learn more about each other and the place in which you live.

20.) Try restaurants that are local, out of the way, and not crowded and spend more than an hour there sampling different things from the menu and actually taking time to eat them, not inhale them.

21.) Go pick a bouquet of wildflowers. While you’re out picking flowers you can talk to one another in a way you can’t at a movie, and when the date is done give your date the flowers you picked. How romantic!

22.) Go on a historical tour of your town together.

23.) Go on a chartered fishing trip and offer to bait her hook.

24.) If you’re an adrenaline junkie, go sky-diving or bungee jumping together.

25.) If the fair is in town, go for a ride on the Ferris-wheel and stop for some cotton candy.

26.) Stroll the boardwalk on the beach and stop at a cafe for a mid-afternoon drink to beat the heat.

27.) Go to a party of mutual friends. If you get bored of each other, oh well! Your friends are around.

28.) Go to the arcade and have fun playing all the games.

29.) While a movie is a cautious “no,” going to a live theater production is a resounding “yes!”

30.) It may seem corny, but making a late night picnic and catching fireflies is a great way to make your date remember you every time he or she sees lightning bugs light up the dark.

31.) Go sing karaoke and ham it up!

32.) Have your caricatures drawn by a street artist. What better way to see how cute you two are together?

33.) Of course, you could get a real image and visit a photo booth and take great pictures and then go grab lunch and laugh at your silly faces.

34.) Sometimes you just can’t make a meal, so go out for drinks at a restaurant opening!

35.) Find a secluded place with lots of sidewalk and concrete and color it in with chalk art.

36.) Go for a drive in the country and listen to your favorite types of music.

37.) Visit an art gallery event and dress up for the event, which will also impress your date on how well you clean up.

38.) You need to go shopping for clothes, she likes shopping. Go shopping together and get her input as you two hit up various places.

39.) Go to a comedy show and break the first date ice with lots of laughs.

40.) If meeting someone for the first date has you feeling the jitters, calm things down at a library and discuss a great book you just read.

41.) Sporting events are always fun dates, if you know your date is into sports.

42.) If you like a certain pool-hall, invite your date for a fun game of 8-Ball.

43.) Cook for each other then meet at a mutually loved location to share your food.

44.) Go to a book signing and then later discuss what you like so much about the author. This also works with meet and greets for bands.

45.) Go to a local musical show and then out for dessert to talk about your favorite types of music.

46.) Watch the sunrise and sunset in the same day.

47.) Go camping and enjoy the solitude of nature and each others company.

48.) Go to the playground and actually play. Push your date on the swing, too!

49.) Over lunch in a quiet place, play cards and Truth or Dare at the same time.

50.) Drive-in movies are the only movies you should go to on a first date. Make it really fun by dressing in 1950s attire then going out for milkshakes after.

Weird Things You Did Not Know Could Give You Amazing Skin- Even Vodka!

Magazines, beauty websites and friends, will encourage you to invest in products that they think will work wonders for your skin. However, you’ll be shocked to know that there are a few amazing ingredients that can be easily found in the four walls of your kitchen. Eager to know what they are? Here’s a list of 8 weird things you did not know could give you amazing skin! (Yes, even Vodka!)

1. Nutritious Eggs

Eggs not only make a yummy meal, but they’re also equally yummy for your face! Though, they might smell awful and feel gross to touch, a mask made out of egg whites can be extremely beneficial for your skin. It has nourishing, protein and toning contents which are responsible for giving your complexion a radiant glow, keeping your skin firm and diminishing the appearance of large pores. Don't chuck the yolk out as yet, use it on your mane to give it a glossy and healthy texture.

2. Fresh Cinnamon

Ever wondered why many beauty products contain cinnamon as a major ingredient? That’s because, it’s a miracle worker for your skin. Apparently, it’s known to act like a stimulating agent for your blood vessels which are responsible for giving your skin a plump, smooth and soft texture. You can also crush a cinnamon stick into tiny powdery pieces and mix it with honey to create your very own face scrub! This mixture will not only act as cleansing agent for your pores, but will also improve blood circulation.

3. Minty Love

If your skin is acne prone, you might want to give mint leaves a shot. Since they are a rich source of salicylic acid and vitamin B, they can help banish those zits. All you have to do is apply the juice of the mint leaves to your face for a couple of minutes and then wash it off. You will notice that the juice leaves your skin feeling fresh, bright and smooth.

4. Scented Sandalwood

Popularly known for its antiseptic properties, sandalwood, makes an excellent ingredient for disinfecting wounds, blemishes and nasty cuts. Sandalwood oil can also be used as a moisturizer for all skin types as well. To eradicate acne and unwanted bacteria, make a paste out of sandalwood, turmeric powder and water. Keep it on for 15-20 mins. Wash it off with cold water. Do this twice a week to get results!

5. Trippy Vodka

Yes ladies, vodka! We’re not asking you to drink it, but we’re requesting you to apply it to your gorgeous skin. Trust us, it makes a great toner which helps tighten up those pores, eradicate dead skin cells, and refreshes skin texture. The best part, it works on all skin types (Even on sensitive skin!)
6. Gooey Honey

When it comes to hydrating the skin, honey makes an excellent substitute for water. It’s extremely soothing and has natural antibacterial properties which are excellent for your skin. It keeps blackheads at bay, and gets rid of dead skin cells. Instead of using products that contain honey, use natural honey as it has a better impact on your skin.

7. Rich Banana Pulp

Bananas are a rich source of vitamins, minerals and nutrients. They work wonders for your digestive system and surprisingly for your skin as well. Bananas contain vitamin A, which is responsible for banishing dark spots and improving skin texture. If you want to create a facial scrub, chop the banana into fine pieces then mash it up. Add the mashed paste to a bowl of brown sugar to give it a crunchy texture. This mix works wonders on all types of skin, especially the sensitive kind.
8. Turmeric

In India, turmeric is considered to be a natural beauty ingredient. It has antiseptic properties and fights acne. Although, it might give your skin a slightly yellowish tint, but it will leave a radiant glow at the end of it. It’s also a fabulous bleaching agent when it comes to dealing with dark elbows and knees.

How to Start the Day off Right

Have you ever noticed how much better your whole day is when it starts out right?

Instead of rushing around, trying to find your car keys or your other shoe, you feel relaxed and ready for the day. Rather than skipping breakfast at home and grabbing something on the go, you actually have time to eat and enjoy something healthy.

There are a couple of little things you can do daily to lay the foundation of a good day. Putting a few small habits in place can make a world of difference…

Do a Little Night Before Prep
Doing a few things to get ready the night before can really help to make your morning go more smoothly. Here are a few suggestions:
- Cue the coffee pot to brew upon your wake up time.
- Plan what you’re going to wear and lay out everything you need to get dressed, including shoes!
- Take a look at your to do list. Decide: what are the top 3 priorities you can commit to for the coming day?
- Gather what you need by the door – wallet, keys, purse, work bag, etc. If you can’t find something, now is the time to go chase it!

Eat a Good Breakfast
Breakfast gets you going in the morning, so give yourself the time to make a decent one and to actually enjoy it! Here are 16 Quick Breakfast Ideas to get you started.

Enjoy 10 Minutes of Solitude
Take at least 10 minutes out of your day to relax. Read a chapter or passage from an inspirational book. Simply sit in the quiet and sip your coffee or tea. Meditate. The point is to give your self a few minutes to get centered. Once you've done this, it’s much easier to bring yourself back to a more peaceful state of mind later in the day.

Lazy One - The Comical Boxers

"Be careful what you wear to bed at night, you never know who you'll meet in your dreams." This is an interesting quote. Yes. Why shouldn't you be well dressed for bed? You never know what might happen next and your dreams might come true. :)

6 Tips to Make Loungewear Look Chic

Get comfortable, it's in fashion. Loungewear is having a major moment right now and not just in the bedroom. Designers pull inspiration from bedroom attire and celebs are embracing the comfy styles and accessorizing to make it their own. Here are a few tips to keep you looking chic, and not like a sack of potatoes, while wearing loungewear.

1. Practice proper proportions

Don't go baggy all over. If something is loose, make sure something else is tight. Flowy fabrics can be relaxing, but detrimental to your figure. If you're doing a loose pant, make sure your top is more fitted or vice versa. Think about proportion, this will determine if you look fabulous or frumpy.

2. Keep shoes cute
This is the one area you may not want to go too comfortable in. Avoid shoes that feel too casual. This look shouldn't get mistaken for what you'd wear to a midnight snack run. Avoid Uggs, sneakers and plain flip flops. The key to making loungewear look chic is in the shoes. Try a statement shoe — perhaps a brightly-colored strappy sandal or a gladiator pump. Cute flats and sandals work too. Try an ankle-strap flat sandal and avoid anything that looks too much like a slipper.

3. Add bling
Feel like your outfit is plain or feeling really casual? Accessories really make all the difference, so play up your look with stylish adornments. Elevate the style of a sweatshirt and layer a rhinestone pave statement necklace on top. This trick works all the time. Keep some jewelry in your bag at all times. Then, when you're not loving your look (we've all been there), simply slap on some jewels and you're ready to go.

4. Play up prints
Printed pants, tops, together or separate — it's all a DO. Rocking a print head to toe can be intimidating. Don't let patterns scare you. A sweatshirt and pajama pants feels more stylish in a print than in drab grey. Try a printed kimono with jean shorts and a tee to work in another print or opt for a pant with a pattern (huge right now!). You'll look far more dressed up than you'll feel and pieces like this catch the eye and work as a conversation starter too.

5. No skimping on hair and makeup
Your hair and makeup can make or break an outfit. Some girls look like they can just throw anything on and look good, right? The right hair and makeup makes the difference. Now I'm not saying go glam, I'm saying don't forget about hair and makeup. Try soft romantic makeup with a sheer kimono or do a red lip and messy waves with sweats.

6. Add in unexpected fashion
Not feeling "put together" enough? Take a piece that you may not normally wear with sweats and add it to the look, like a blazer, leather jacket, chambray top or flannel shirt. This will add sharp lines to your look, making it feel more tailored, less sloppy. Add a scarf or clutch, or both. Pairing pieces that feel more dressy and stylish will do wonders for your loungewear look.

Healthy Choices to Make Before You Go to Sleep Tonight

It's the same routine: slip into your pajamas, brush your teeth, and get ready for bed. But are you missing
some crucial healthy to-dos that will help you get a jump-start on the next day? Before you go to bed tonight, make sure you add these to your list to make your bedtime the healthiest it can be!

Get Ready For the Next Day

Make mornings easy by getting your workout clothes, healthy lunches, and snacks ready for the next day. You'll save time in the morning, save money by not having to eat out, and stay motivated by preparing for the next day's workout.

Choose a Healthy Snack

Can't get to bed because of those distracting hunger pangs? Don't forgo food if you're hungry — just make sure you pick the right snack. Check out a few low-calorie late-night snacks that just take a little prep.

Nix the Afternoon Caffeine

Even if you're not downing an espresso shot right before bed, a caffeine hit in the afternoon can still affect the quality of your sleep later. Caffeine can keep you more alert than you want to be and also decrease levels of the sleep hormone melatonin in your body. Craving a warm drink in the afternoon? Opt for herbal teas that won't leave you wired.

Stretch It Out

Before you completely drift off, spend a few minutes working on your flexibility. Stretching before bed will not only help you perform better during your workouts, but it will also relax your body and mind to help you drift off to sleep. Try our series of seven stretches you can do in bed.

Turn It Off

Your mind, the TV, that annoying blinking computer light. To get a good night's sleep, make sure you're relaxed and not distracted. That means blocking out any noise or light pollution, taking time to let your mind wander, and otherwise making your bedroom a relaxing environment.

“Pajamas just make people happy”.

“Pajamas just make people happy”.

So what’s the connection between pajamas and happiness, anyway?

When you get down to it, its all about simple pleasures. Lots of people chase happiness, thinking the next thing they attain or goal they reach will finally, once and for all, make them happy. Goals and desires are a part of life, but when we're constantly looking down the road, we're missing what’s right in front of us: the simple things that make us happy right now.

Here are just a few of the reasons why we believe pajamas can add to your happiness…

Comfort & Relaxation
Getting cozy in your pjs after a long day at school or work can be so soothing. Its a signal to your body that its time to slow down. Giving ourselves time to recharge is key in maintaining inner peace and happiness.

Family Time
Being at home in your pajamas usually means time with family: pancake breakfasts, movie marathons, or just hanging out! We know that connection and belonging – whether it be with family or friends – increases our well-being and joy.

Being Yourself
Pajamas give you another way to express yourself, and maybe even in a way you wouldn't normally during daily life. You get to wear what ever you want. Piggy pjs? Superman underoos? Fuzzy frog slippers? Its all about YOU and what makes you feel good!

So how about you: what is your simple pleasure?

6 Signs It’s Time for a Pajama Day

Time to have some fun and hopefully some relaxation too. But we know that sometimes holiday weekends can get away from us – booked up with family events, picnics, parties, etc. By the time you’re done running around, you wonder: what happened to my long weekend!?!

If you're feeling overworked and exhausted, its the perfect time to consider taking an extra day off just to do nothing. We call it a Pajama Day. It can take a few days to unplug and decompress, so tagging an extra day off onto a long weekend is a great idea.

Just in case you need a nudge to recognize when some down-time is called for, here are 6 tell-tale signs a Pajama Day needs to be in your immediate future!

1. Little things set you off.

You feel irritable and cranky. Little things annoy you that normally wouldn't, a sure sign of anxiety. Time to get out of your head and into those PJs!

2. You feel really negative.

Its that niggly, critical voice in your head and its seems to have gotten louder lately! Its not saying very nice things and you can’t seem to shake it. Your prescription? A little Pajama Perspective is in order, my friend!

3. Your productivity has taken a dive.

You feel like you’re spending more time staring at the computer screen than actually working. It’s taking you double the time to get something done than it normally would. The reality is that there’s only so much work you can do and creativity you can muster, before you just need a break.

3. You’re not sleeping well.

You’re exhausted, but you feel like you can never quite catch up on sleep. You toss and turn at night thinking about work projects and wake up feeling just as tired as when you went to bed. Yup, its time!

5. You’re not feeling well.

You’re starting to feel achy and your body’s just not right. Your shoulders are tense and your stomach may be tight. You might even feel a cold coming on. Chronic stress takes its toll on the body, and some rest is what you need.

6. You dread Sunday night.

Sunday evening rolls around and all you can think about is the fact that you've got to start the work week all over again. Ugggggh. Yup, you've caught it…its the Sunday blues and its time to break the cycle…

The PJ Stories! :)

Now is the best time to start buying and stocking loungewear for winter as they are the most comfortable and cozy clothes to wear for the day. But shopping for your little ones is equally daunting as for yourself. But here at Nuteez, be ready to get spoilt for choices as we have the most adorable pj sets which are sure to make you go oohh and awwhh. Made with the best quality material and creative designs which are sure to win your child’s heart as well.
Kids love those cartoon prints that are just too hard to let go. So why not make your kids look adorable in these pj sets too. We usually stop and stare at the cute little outfits for our kids at the mall or stores but at the same time it takes more than 5 minutes just to wrestle them into wearing socks, leave alone shoes. But here you can have greater love and affection for these pjs as they are easy to slide them in and very soft and comfortable on your child’s skin as well.
Of course, babies spend so much time in their jammies as it is, the whole obsession starts off innocently enough. You really do need them. But then you hit a good sale, or remember that time when you had to change sleepers 3 times in one night and you find yourself justifying every little purchase. Your little angel needs his/her sleep afterall.
And then if by chance you have a second child, you might find yourself reaching for the 6month sizes AND the 4T whether you need them or not, just too see your toddlers in matching attire! And let’s not forget that this is indeed your child’s first foray into the world of fashion

An Independence Day Thought

It’s the 67th year of Indian independence and needless to say a proud moment for us, the grandchildren and great grandchildren of brave men and women whose sole aim in life was to free their motherland from the mighty clutches of the British Raj. But like all else, we question ourselves what is it that we are actually celebrating? The righteous possession of a land that was truly ours or the further divisions that are constantly being made of the pie, the brave hearts who fought as one against an insurmountable monster or the ones with whom we entrust the responsibility of safe-guarding what was probably the only good thing that came out of the long-drawn battle?
Well, independence means different things to different individuals. In this day and age, where individualism prevails over everything else, a few talk of the freedom to choose their path, pursue their passion and make a livelihood from the choices they make, while others talk of freedom from the apparent ‘rights’ and ‘wrongs’ that the society decides.

Nuteez celebrates freedom of expression and being able to speak your mind but there is always an opportunity for a greater awakening not just restricted to your own self. As responsible citizens, in whose young hands lies the future of the nation, the buck does not stop at ‘wearing’ what you think but standing up for and voicing your opinion on issues that matter to people at large. With the entire world becoming a global village and a virtual melting point of unending ideas, especially with a tool as powerful as social media, it’s not too difficult to bring about a revolution which has a wide reach! As the old adage goes, freedom brings with it a great deal of responsibility. This Independence Day, stop to think what your purpose of celebrating Independence Day is! Change is only a matter of conviction and belief! HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

A Sweet Life!

When someone claims to have a sweet tooth we all know they aren’t referring to a physical tooth that’s sweet. The simplest definition of a sweet tooth can be, “a craving or desire for something sugary or sweet.”

Our cravings are based on our lifestyle — sometimes you crave something for the warm fuzzes and comfort it brings based on your childhood memories and unforgotten habits. Inspired by this celebrated obsession of humans with sweet things, Nuteez, launched ‘Sweet Tooth’ collection to satisfy all your sweet cravings by not only feeding the body but also its visual senses! Show the world how sweet a person you by flaunting your sweet obsession. With super sweet prints and designs on a variety of products that range from coffee/tea mugs, t shirts, shorts, capris and pajama sets, this innovative print is here to stay.

Need we say anything about the quality of our products? The clothing is fantastic and has been ‘Peach’ finished to give you a softer, more relaxed and a comfortable feel. All our clothing material are 100% cotton, and you will feel even better, when you are out there showing your appreciation for sweets in the most natural way.
And of course sugar isn't all bad — having it in moderation is not only harmless but also aids in making your smiles sweeter by a mile!
